Her name is Eos.(Her parents named her after the goddess of dawn, because she was born at dawn.)

She was a star hunter, but the God who was impressed with her archery, makes her the protector of the continent that the God dominates.

The character in the picture has the ability to purify and resuscitate.
This female character was sketched in very short period of time. There was no bird in the first sketch but while working on it, I introduced the bird for symbolic meaning.

The title 'Healing' describes the character in full of meaning.
I hope she could heal the hearts of many people who see the picture.

This image is created for trying to achieve photoreal look.
However I didn't want just it absolutely look photo-realistic..
I wanted to make character include a story and putting deep emotion in them..
She is butterfly nymph just left the cocoon.
I'm sure she have suffered unbearable pain for break hard shelled cocoon and step out it.
It has some analogy with our creative working.

I made this piece after seeing “GLADIATOR” and being very impressed with the movie.
He is a humanism character who is very strong but also very deep inside at the same time.
This is the scene where after the battle, he has all these feelings and memories.
I thought that this scene represents his inner image the best.
That is why I decided to make this scene into 3D.
